Surbhi is an experienced professional who brings 8+ years of experience across investment banking, early and growth stage startups and corporates. She brings multi-cultural exposure having worked across geographies in cross-functional roles straddling growth, strategy and finance. She has helped founders and promoters define and execute business strategy, raise capital and scale businesses. As part of her investment banking experience, she has worked in real estate, manufacturing and construction equipment, education, and consumer sectors. She was part of the advisory team working for Cafe Coffee Day on the $350m buyout of their Bengaluru tech park by Blackstone, one of the largest real estate deals in South India. She also worked in a Chief of Staff capacity with the founders of fintech Upstox during one of their fastest phases of growth. In her most recent role, she worked as a Strategy and Investment manager for Meraki Education in Dubai, where she helped execute the business expansion strategy and raise structured finance for the existing business.
Surbhi excels at researching new markets and developing and executing Go-To-Market strategies, handling multiple internal and external stakeholders and prioritizing execution flow. At Bolanile, she is responsible for developing new business and investment strategies.
Surbhi has completed her engineering from BITS Pilani and MBA from IIM Calcutta. She also holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst, USA) charter.
